Prescribed Burning

The use or application of manager ignited fire to intentionally burn wildland fuels in either their natural or modified state under specified environmental conditions , confined to a predetermined area, and within a range of fire intensity and rate of spread that permits attainment of planned resource management objectives and is conducted in conformance with an approved burn plan.
Summary:
Since 2002 Firestorm has completed over 12,660 acres of prescribe burning projects. Clients include: private landowners, community fire safe councils, local land developers, conservation foundations, Department of Interior-Bureau of Land Management / Department of Reclamation and the United States Department of Agriculture-Forest Service.
